Cam Sigler Tying Instructions
Step 1: Place the cone head onto the hook (you may have to crimp the barb down). Make sure it's facing the right way before you begin adding material. Tie in a medium bunch of bucktail, about twice the length of the hook, just before the bend. Then add eight to 10 strands of Crystal Mirror Flash at the top of the bucktail.
Step 2: Tie in two to three grizzly neck hackles per side.
Step 3: Tie in 1⁄4-inch of CCT Body Fur in front of the wing, and then palmer in a died saddle hackle over the top of the Body Fur.
Step 4: Seat the cone head back over the hackles, wrap the shank with waxed thread to the hook eye, and cement. Finally, slide a medium popper head over the eye of the hook to the cone head. You can secure this permanently with glue if you prefer.
