Good News For Motorists At Pump
Debt Consolidation And Credit With the price of gas substantially lower than it was last July, car travel will be a popular way to get around during the Independence Day holiday weekend. "Prices certainly are reasonable for the motorist," said Pam Maiolo, public affairs manager for AAA Midatlantic, in Hamilton. "Our New Jersey average is $1.32 a gallon, (in the) Trenton area, more specifically, $1.30 a gallon, and that represents a 30- to 32-cent savings over this time last year. So we expect to see probably, if nothing else, an increase in auto travel."

Improve Credit Rating "Actually, the price of gas has gone down in the last two weeks," said Titus Lennon, a customer at the Delta station on South Olden Avenue in Hamilton. "Could always go down more, but I know it's not the owners of the gas stations" that are pumping the prices up, he said.
What's a Good Credit Report Rating While each lender decides what credit score it considers a good risk, if you're credit score is generally 650 or better, you will probably be considered a good credit risk (meaning, you're likely to pay off a loan on time and in full), and you'll therefore qualify for a prime (i.e., desirable) interest rate. If your credit report rating is between 620 and 650, you may also be qualified for a desirable loan, but you may need to provide the lending institution with additional documentation to prove that you're creditworthy.
Credit Online Rating Report "Gas is no factor," said Damian Sammons, as he waited for his tank to fill at the Getty station on Route 1, in Princeton. Sammons planned to spend the Fourth in Philadelphia watching the parades and meeting up with his friends.
Fair Isaac (FICO) finally recognized the abuses of the practice recently and adjusted their credit score algorithm (the set of rules FICO uses to score credit reports) to ignore authorized user accounts. The result is that generally credit scores will no longer be inflated by authorized user accounts. Good news for lenders who do not want credit scores artificially manipulated. Bad news for legitimate authorized users who may have benefited somewhat from their parents’ good credit habits.
Credit Score Rating Scale "I'll tell you what, the price of gas doesn't affect me at all," said Jonathan Soltesz, parked at the Texaco station on the corner of Ewingville Road and Pennington Avenue in Ewing. "Got to buy gas, got to drive."
The recent cuts in interest rates came as good news for millions of homeowners struggling to make ends...
Bad Card Credit Credit People Even when gas prices are higher, Maiolo said, they are not much of a factor.
Free Credit Rating Report "Gas prices are not a factor when people are making plans to travel," Maiolo said. "If they are going to go on a vacation, they make those plans ahead of time, not knowing what the gas prices are going to be, and so when the gas prices then are whatever they are, they're not going to cancel their trip," Maiolo said.
Credit Rating Scale "Wasn't part of (my decision) at all," James Buttolph said of gas prices, while getting his tank filled at the Getty station.
Bad Credit Rating "We're going to the Shore," said Jeff Cabe, who was buying gas with his family at the Texaco station. He said gas prices were not a factor in his decision to go.
Credit Rating Agency "We go every year," Cabe said. More locals were worried about terrorism than by gas prices.
Credit Rating Canada "I'm trying to stay far away from Carteret, New Jersey, because of all of the terrorist threats and the power plants (that are possible targets)" said Coral Magbanua while stopped at the Getty station. "I'm going to stay by the Shore. Nothing too exciting."
Bad Credit Mortgage Rating Maiolo was convinced that car travel would continue to be popular.
Good Credit Rating "As long as there's gas available, we will continue to travel by car. The Fourth of July weekend is one of the busiest," Maiolo said.
Credit Score Rating Chart Joe Jarzyk, who was leaving his car at the Texaco to be serviced, agreed. "If it was $2 (a gallon), I'd still go anywhere," Jarzyk said. "I'll probably just go to the Shore, go crabbing. That's it."
